The International Institute for Applied Systems Analysis (IIASA) has opened applications for its prestigious Young Scientists Summer Program (YSSP) 2026. What Will You Do?

Eligibility Criteria

• Academic Level: You must be an advanced graduate student. Ideally, you should be about 2 years prior to receiving your PhD.
• Field of Study: Open to all fields (Natural Sciences, Social Sciences, Engineering, etc.) provided the research topic is compatible with IIASA's ongoing work.
• Language: Fluency in English is mandatory.
• Citizenship: There are no citizenship requirements. However, priority is given to citizens or residents of countries that have a National Member Organization (NMO) with IIASA (e.g., USA, UK, China, Japan, Germany, etc.).
