The Fraxa Research Foundation has announced its Postdoctoral Fellowships for the 2026 cycle. This initiative awards up to 12 fellowships to support cutting-edge biomedical research aimed at finding specific treatments for Fragile X syndrome, the most common inherited cause of intellectual disabilities and autism.

Selected fellows will receive a stipend of $45,000 per year for up to two years. Eligibility Criteria

This fellowship is open to high-level scholars. To qualify, you must meet the following requirements:

• Education: You must hold a PhD or MD degree (or equivalent doctorate).
• Lab Affiliation: You must work in an established lab where the Principal Investigator (PI) can demonstrate adequate overall funding to pursue the project.
• Citizenship: There are no strict citizenship requirements; researchers from all over the world can apply. However, preference is sometimes given to United States citizens.
