Procter & Gamble HBCYOU Scholarship 2026: Get Up to $2,500 Funding (HBCU Students Only)

Procter & Gamble (P&G) has partnered with the United Negro College Fund (UNCF) to launch the 2025-2026 Procter & Gamble HBCYOU Scholarship Program. This initiative is part of P&G's commitment to supporting students everyday through graduation.

The scholarship offers an award of up to $2,500 for the current school year. It is exclusively designed for full-time undergraduate students enrolled at any accredited four-year Historically Black College or University (HBCU) in the U.S. The deadline is strictly December 15, 2025, so eligible students need to apply immediately.

Eligibility Criteria

This scholarship is open to students from all majors, provided they meet the specific enrollment and academic standards. To qualify, you must:

• Enrollment: Be a full-time undergraduate student at any U.S. located, accredited, four-year HBCU.
• Academic Standing: Maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
• Financial Need: Have demonstrated unmet financial need as verified by your college via the FAFSA.
• Citizenship: Be a U.S. Citizen, Permanent Resident, or hold specific immigration statuses (A03, A05, A12, C08, C33, C31, or A11).

Application Requirements

The application process is handled through the UNCF portal. A key component of this application is the Letter of Recommendation (LOR). Please follow these rules carefully:

• LOR Source: The letter must come from an individual with an academic, professional, or leadership background.
• Restrictions: LORs from family members or friends will not be accepted.
• Submission Method: You must "Invite" your reference through the online portal. Do not ask them to email it separately.

How to Invite a Reference (Crucial Step)

1. Log in to the Student Home page.
2. Click on the application name.
3. Click “Invite Reference”.
4. Enter your Reference's name and email address, then click Submit.

Note for References: Please advise your reference to look for the email invitation and click "View/Edit" to submit the form. They should NOT click "Write a Reference" independently, as this creates errors.

Timeline & Notification

The application deadline is December 15, 2025, at 5:00 PM EST. Incomplete applications will not be considered. Successful applicants will be notified of decisions within 12-15 weeks after the deadline.
